In association with Eley Guild Hardy Architects, Brown, Mitchell & Alexander, Inc. (BMA) provided civil engineering, surveying, permit coordination and construction phase services for a secondary education facility. The project facilitated the need for additional work which included a water well, sewer pump station and access road to accommodate the new St. Patrick High School for the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi.
Separate bid packages were prepared for the preliminary sitework package, water well, sewer pump station and force main and the access road, which were off-site or outside of the school contract. Extensive coordination with local utility companies, regulatory agencies and others for the development of these projects was also provided and resulted in the design and construction of these projects in less than one year. Construction costs for this infrastructure were approximately $2.1 million.
