The City of Gulfport retained Brown, Mitchell & Alexander, Inc. (BMA) for design, survey, bidding assistance, and construction administration for implementation of the North Orange Grove Sewer Improvements. The four (4) projects included in these improvements are as follows:
North Orange Grove Sewer Force Main (SRF-C 280743-06, Contract A);
Project consisted of constructing approximately 19,000 linear feet of twenty-four (24) inch sewer force main along with all road crossings, erosion control, maintenance of traffic and other work. Total estimated cost for this project was $1.9 million.
O’Neal Road Regional Pump Station (SRF-C280743-06, Contract B);
Project included the construction of a regional pump station with a capacity of 6500 gpm including a wetwell, station piping, four (4) pumps, protective shelter building, controls, standby generator, sitework and other incidental construction. Total project was $1.7 million.
North Orange Grove Gravity Sewer Interceptor, Ph I (SRF-C280743-06, Contracts, C & E);
project consisted of constructing approximately 15,000 linear feet of gravity sewer main along with all road crossings, erosion control, maintenance of traffic and other work. Total cost for this project was approximately $1.7 million.
Construction costs for all four (4) projects totaled: $ 7 Million
North Orange Grove Gravity Sewer Interceptor, PH II (SRF-C280743-06, Contract D);
the project consisted of constructing approximately 23,000 linear feet of gravity sewer main along with all road crossings, erosion control, maintenance of traffic and other work. Total cost for this project was $1.6 million.
