Brown, Mitchell & Alexander, Inc. (BMA) provided professional civil engineering services to the City of Biloxi for the West Biloxi Public Access & Living Shoreline Project.
This multi-phase project included the construction of approximately one and a half miles of timber boardwalk from Rodenberg Avenue along Biloxi’s “Restaurant Row” to the south extension of Camellia Street in Biloxi. The boardwalk was constructed on timber piles with a timber framing system and composite material decking. Amenities included concrete flatwork, signs, and electrical lighting system. The first phase of the project was completed in 2018 with a construction value of approximately $1.2 Million. Phase 2 of the project's construction was completed by Fall 2020.
